Building the FFA float

Today I worked on the float that my FFA chapter is building for the homecoming parade tomorrow. I worked on this last year as well, but I think this year it will be the best float yet. I was really excited about working on it again because I love to be a part of something that everyone will get to see. Homecoming is a really big thing at my high school. For the whole week, everyone dresses up differently. Monday it was superhero day, Tuesday was support a senior day. Today was class color day ( mine was blue), tomorrow is nerd/toda day, and Friday is school spirit day. The parade is on Thursday and the game and the dance is on Friday. This is the one time of year that everyone gets together. Converstions revolve around the homecoming dance, and after school is spent with various people building and working on various floats for the parade. Its kind of cool to see everyone working together on homecoming week. I can't wait for the parade tomorrow. I am going to ride on a trailer pulled by a tractor down main street. What can be better then that?
