Today I carved my pumpkin. I had seen a design that I had really wanted to carve, so I decided that I was going to do the one of a face peeking out from blinds. I thought that would look really cool, so I set to work. We use foam pumpkins because you can keep them for years and years, and you don't have to be elbow deep in pumpkin guts before you carve. That's always a good thing. I chose a white pumpkin instead of an orange one because I thought it looked cooler. I always want my pumpkin color to look "cool". So I started out carving this pumpkin. It was a whole lot more complicated then I thought. For one, I think I started in the wrong place because when I started moving to do the blind parts, his face started pushing in, which wasn't good because I thought it was going to break. However, it didn't so that's good. But, it was a lot of fun and I had a good time. I think the end product looks really cool, and when its all lit up, I have to say, it looks kinda creepy. :)
